What is Kickboxing?

Fitness Kickboxing is a fun, energetic non-contact class based on the dynamic sparring movements from Taekwon-Do. Participants will learn the correct movement patterns for a multitude of explosive kicks as well as improving their flexibility and fitness levels.

Background music will help to motivate the participants, pushing themselves through the many methods of training including skipping, pad work, footwork drills and shadow sparring.

This high energy, fun and varied class will help those wanting to learn Kickboxing skills and challenge those with a bit more experience to become fitter and faster.

The class is ideal for men and women and normal gym attire is to be worn (a bottle of water and towel is advised), participants can bring their own gloves or use gloves from Freedom Leisure.

Classes are ideal for men and women beginners and those with no experience in Martial Arts as well as those with more experience, challenge yourself and come along for a fun session and great workout!
